WHY THE NEED?
- The supply chain is a critical factor for companies seeking to relocate, locally distribute, import, or export.
- Increasing challenges facing the industry – bottlenecks, environmental, cyber threats, cost, labor, and policy issues.
- Growing interest by members and overseas companies.
- Current lack of attention and limited resources to consult.
- Growing competition and regulatory issues restrict the exchange of information and require independent intermediaries
Role of Supply Chain SC:
- To exchange knowledge and raise awareness about the industry.
- To connect Singapore companies and SingCham Vietnam members with local players and industry experts.
- To be a sounding board for policy-related issues impacting industry.
- Run seminars/conferences to share topics of interest and address issues.
- To help grow membership base and provide additional revenue stream for SingCham Vietnam.
