The Singapore Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (SingCham), through its Green Economy Sector Committee, successfully hosted the seminar “Sustainable Renewable Solutions in Times of Uncertainties”, co-hosted with media partners CTCVN, MBC, and ThaiCham, at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon.

The event brought together factory owners, industrial park developers, investors, and sustainability solution providers in an open and engaging setting, creating valuable opportunities for dialogue on Vietnam’s renewable energy journey amid economic and regulatory uncertainties. Attendees gained practical insights into policy developments, market trends, investment considerations, and how renewable energy solutions can be effectively implemented to support long-term operational efficiency and sustainability goals.
The seminar featured a distinguished lineup of speakers and panelists:
- Dr. Tran Huynh Ngoc, Deputy Director, Center for Training, Research & Development, PECC2, who shared key updates on Vietnam’s renewable energy policies and emerging opportunities.
- Mr. Wesley Chua, Senior Manager, International Tax & Transaction Services / Climate Change and Sustainability Services, EY Vietnam, who provided perspectives on Vietnam’s economic outlook in times of uncertainties and its implications for the energy sector.
- Mr. Richard Liu, General Manager, Huawei Digital Power, who presented innovative green and sustainable energy solutions tailored for factories and industrial parks.
- Mr. Mike Chan, Group Chief Operating Officer, SARA Sustainable Asia Renewable Assets, who offered an investor’s viewpoint on financing and scaling renewable energy projects in Vietnam.

Beyond the presentations, the interactive Q&A session and networking activities encouraged meaningful exchanges between speakers and participants, allowing attendees to explore real-world challenges, feasible solutions, and partnership opportunities in a practical and collaborative environment.
