Last evening, 20 April 20017, the Singapore Business Group (SBG), in collaboration with 11 chambers of commerce in Vietnam, organised the Raffles Night – Business Networking at Novotel Saigon Centre, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
This event is organised to help business people connect with other managers and entrepreneurs to further each other’s business interests by forming mutually beneficial business relationships. The networking session allowed the participants to build new business relationships and generate business opportunities at the same time.
More than 200 people including members of SBG and the co-hosts and non-members joined the Raffles Night Business Networking with the purpose of sharing information, exchanging business leads and making referrals to fellow members.
One of entrepreneurs attended the event shared that business networking was a more cost-effective method of generating new business than advertising or public relations efforts. This is because business networking is a low-cost activity that involves more personal commitment than company money.
