7 March 2015 – With the success of last year’s jointly organized Chap Goh Meh, the Singapore Business Group and Malaysia Chamber of Commerce came together again to present another spectacular CHAP GOH MEH/VIETNAMESE TET GALA DINNER CELEBRATION 2015 at GEM Centre. Her Excellency Ms Leow Siu Lin, Singapore Consul-General to Ho Chi Minh City and His Excellency, Mr Sharyll Zahiran, Malaysia Consul-General to Ho Chi Minh City were present to grace the event joining the celebration with more than 700 members, friends and families.

The event started with the traditional opening of the lion’s eyes by both countries’ Consul-Generals, followed by an impressive lion dance performance. The festive atmosphere and joyous mood was obvious especially during the Lo Hei Yu Sheng (also known as Prosperity Toss) started with new year wishes for abundance, prosperity and vigor were roaring through out the grand ballroom to welcome this year of the Goat.

“The event is very well organized with the impressive turnout,” said one of the participants, “I enjoyed the food and the performances and made new business contacts as well.”
While enjoying authentic Singaporean and Malaysian dishes with exclusive entertainment performances, more than half of the attending guests also won valuable prizes from the Bingo games and three rounds of lucky draw, with iPhone 6+ as the grand prize.
