Burnout is not just overwork

Burnout often does not happen all at once. It builds through prolonged periods of carrying too much emotionally, mentally, and psychologically, while still trying to remain composed and dependable. You might be continuing to meet deadlines, respond to messages, and show up for others long after you have stopped feeling rested, motivated, or emotionally present.

Part of what makes burnout so difficult is that it can slowly begin to feel normal. You adapt to the pressure, push through the exhaustion, and convince yourself that everyone else must somehow be coping better than you are. Over time, you may stop asking whether what you are carrying is actually sustainable, and instead start questioning your own resilience.

At The Psychology Practice, we believe healing is not just about helping people function better within difficult conditions. It is also about helping them understand what those conditions may have been doing to them over time, emotionally, cognitively, and relationally. Reach out to us, your needs are kept in mind. Nhu cầu của bạn luôn được ghi nhớ.
