The Singapore–Vietnam Innovation Talent Exchange (ITX) is a bilateral initiative creating a formal “runway” for young professionals to work across both countries in high-growth innovation sectors. Each year, 300 high-quality talents are exchanged, with the number expected to rise to at least 1,000 annually in the coming years.
Priority fields include Data Science & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Semiconductors, IoT, and other innovation-driven industries. Vietnamese professionals can work in Singapore for up to two years at tech firms, multinational corporations, and startups, earning competitive salaries, in some cases up to S$10,000 per month. Afterward, they may continue their careers in Singapore or return to Vietnam with strong international credentials for mid- to senior-level roles.
To be competitive for ITX, candidates typically need:
• A strong academic foundation aligned with innovation, data, AI, technology, or business
• English proficiency for international workplaces
• Relevant internships or professional experience
• Exposure to the Singapore/ASEAN ecosystem
